Commissioning
Commissioning a mural is easy! You may have a very definite idea of what
you require, but Nicky is on hand to advise you on subject composition
if needed.
Nicky Sloan Murals will be happy
to arrange a consultation with you, to discuss your requirements. This
initial consultation is free of charge and with no obligation.
We are based in Kent, but can
travel to other locations. Don't hesitate to contact

Terms and Conditions
Pricing
Each mural painted by Nicky is
unique, tailored to meet the specifications of the customer, and will
therefore be priced accordingly. Pricing will depend on size, detail,
and length of time required to complete. We can give a general idea of
pricing once an initial consultation has taken place.
Insurance
We have Public Liability Insurance whilst carrying out work on your
property.
Paint
We use low odour, quick drying
acrylic and emulsion, so it is possible for us to paint your mural with
minimum disruption, as you need not vacate the area whilst work is in
progress (space allowing!).
Payment
Depending on the scale of the
work, a deposit may be required to cover materials, or scaffolding hire
(if required). If the commission is large, and expected to continue over
several weeks, we may require payment in instalments, as the mural
progresses. This will be discussed at the initial planning stage. Upon
completion, we will invoice you for payment in full (or any remaining
instalments). Customers are given 14 days from the date of invoice to
make payment. We accept cheques (with a valid guarantee card), or cash
as methods of payment.
Overdue Payments
Procedure
In the case of payments
becoming overdue, we will in the first instance contact the customer by
telephone. If payment is not made within two weeks of our call, we will
then send up to two written reminders to the customer. If payment is
still not forthcoming, we may at our discretion refer the debt to a debt
collection agency.
Cancellation
We provide a cooling off
period of seven days from the date you commission your mural, enabling
you to cancel during this time without incurring any charges. If
however, you cancel after the cooling off period / or when work has
commenced, you will be billed for any work carried out prior to the date
of cancellation. This will include scaffolding hire (if used),
materials, and any expenses incurred by Nicky Sloan Murals in relation
to your commission.
Privacy
Nicky Sloan Murals will hold your personal details only for the duration
of time that your work is carried out. Your information will not be
passed on to any third party.
